Chilly December nights seem like the perfect time to bake cookies. Especially if you gather together with friends, family or loved ones to make them together. This weekend, I made cookies with my friend Megan who, among other things, writes this cute blog with her husband Tony (greenvgreen.blogspot.com).

We had a girls only night of chatting and oatmeal cookie baking. I think oatmeal butterscotch with flax seed might be my favorite cookies, followed by butterscotch cookies using the tollhouse chocolate chip recipe. Yum!

I can only make them occasionally because there is no moderation with these. It’s like the Lays commercial, I cant eat just one. In fact, all this blogging about cookie baking is making me hungry. I just might poke my head into the kitchen and steal another cookie.
