Here at Luck Photography, we believe that supporting local farmers is important. To that end, we have been active supporters and volunteers working to bring a local food co-op grocery store to our area. This is a grassroots community effort made up of farmers and citizens who want to create a strong local food economy. The co-op grocery will help us be better consumers of locally grown foods by offering us a place to buy produce and meats grown by our neighbors. Unlike a farmers market (which we also love) the co-op grocery will be open 7 days a week and will also offer organic and wholesome food options that we can’t find at a conventional supermarket.

Luck Photography's Nate Perry volunteers his Saturday morning to help bring the Company Shops Market Co-op grocery to Burlington NC

This weekend, Nate volunteered his Saturday morning to help refinish the concrete floor in the co-op building. I just a few short months we should be enjoying the fruits our efforts when Company Shops Market opens up in downtown Burlington NC.
