In my last Pinterist Friday post, I shared a collection of holiday photo inspiration ideas.
With those inspiration photos in mind, I looked through my closets and drawers for clothes inspired by the images above and also headed out for a shopping/wardrobe scouting trip at some nearby stores.
Already in my closet, I found some fluffy scarves with lots of texture. I originally found them for about $15 each at TJ Max.
A Kohl’s Depatment Store recently opened up nearby so I headed over there to check it out. Again, with my inspiration photos in mind, I browsed the racks to see what caught my eye. I found this great faux fur vest. It has the perfect amount of off-white fluffy texture and was inspired by the photo of the girls wearing white fur collared sweaters.
Another thing that I noticed popping up in my inspiration photos was sparkle and glitter. I think I am going to pair the fur vest with a sparkly shirt underneath. Maybe this “Apt. 9® Embellished Mesh Tank” in either pink or silver.
