This is Justin Johnson. Not only is he a talented Gypsy / Jazz / Blues guitarist…. He and Nikki Jaeger are the booking agent / event coordinators for Company Shops Market’s new music series that includes live music every Friday night and a big shindig once a month. They made a ‘Tip Jar’ from an old guitar and hope that it will become as ubiquitous in the Burlington music scene as the Swan in Saxapahaw.

Don’t you just love these festive bikes all decked out in streamers, tinsel, and American flags? This kind of Americana reminds me of my own childhood. Summers spent riding bikes with neighborhood kids. Trips to the community pool. And hometown Fourth of July celebrations complete with cotton candy, bean bag tosses and fireworks.
