Earlier this month, we had the distinct pleasure of celebrating the first year of The Eddy Pub in the little town of Saxapahaw NC. This little pub has had a tremendous impact on Saxapahaw and the surrounding area. We have enjoyed so many wonderful evenings there. We love that everyone is welcome and you can bring your kids, your friends, your grandparents and everyone can have a good time. Kudos to pub owners Claire Haslam, Doug Williams, Jeff Barney and Cameron Ratliff for a delightful first year and thanks for all your hard work.
For those of you who attended the event, you can find a few additional photographs here
Serving up local goodness: Pub patrons enjoy the freshness and flavors for food raised with loving care. Jeff Barney is the chef behind the The Eddy Pub. He is a proponent of the Farm to Fork movement and makes his ever changing menu from as many locally raised ingredients as possible. Many of the dishes on the menu are made almost entirely from the bounty of area farms, many of which are just mere miles away from the pub.
