Nate is the best man in a wedding next month. Tonight is the Bachelor Party which is being held “The ATL”. This morning we left home in (what we thought was) plenty of time to reach Atlanta, GA. We even accounted for a little extra Memorial Day Weekend holiday traffic. What should have been a little over 5 hours, turned into a little over 8 hours after 2 bottlenecks that brought I-85 to a standstill, one accident that luckily happened just a few minutes ahead of us,
One massive downpour near the South Carolina / Georgia border:
Just as we were exiting the highway onto the streets of Atlanta,
all hail broke loose (yes hail, and torrential rain).
Water gushed down the city streets as hail pelted the car. Ah travel, you never know what you’re getting into when the journey begins.
