What he thought was a quiet family dinner turned out to be a not-so-quiet dinner with family, friends and neighbors who brought along cupcakes, homemade apple pie, oatmeal caramel bars… and collard greens??
The surprise gathering was planned somewhat at the last minute and I was caught without a gift. So I grabbed my camera on the way out the door and took photos.
