I’ve had a number of headshot sessions in the studio recently. During the most recent one, we were chatting about being in front of the camera vs behind it. I mentioned that I make it a point to be in front of the camera as a way to remind myself what it feels like, to learn about natural posing from the subjects point of view, and because I believe all of us deserve to have portraits of ourselves over time, especially as adults. So when she left, I decided to do a headshot session for myself. Here’s one of my favorites.
